Keep in mind that you will be participating in walks and all activities at your own risk. You are solely responsible for your health and fitness levels and ensuring you are up for taking a walk. I will try to access how "difficult" a walking route is, but I am not a fitness trainer or professional "walker". I'm just someone like many of you wanting to go on a social outing and get some exercise. In joining The Rochester Walkers' Group you are doing so at your own risk and the responsibility i …
There are lots of climbers and potential climbers who could get started or be more active if they only had suitable climbing partners and mentors. The purpose of DARC is to bring climbers of all skill levels together for local training and Climbing expeditions in the US, Canada, and perhaps beyond. Join if you want to climb- whether you don't know where to start, or consider a 5.12 an easy warm up stroll!
We are stand up paddlers living by the strait between Lake Huron and Lake Erie in the heart of the Great Lakes of North America. Beginners are always welcome. Bring a friend.

Below are short films highlighting some of the many sports and activities you could eventually participate in:

OK, the name is a little deceptive. We are NOT a group that specializes in finding new places to go and eat breakfast...although breakfast is, in itself, quite delicious. The Breakfast Club (an homage to the John Hughes movie) is a social group geared towards men and women from their mid-20's to early 40's from all walks of life. Whether you're single, in a relationship, married, divorced, with or without children - if you are looking to meet new people and to explore Metro Detroit, then this i …
I started this group because I love to participate in events like 5K races, 10K races, and obstacle races and sometimes I wish I had more people available to do them with. I'm sure there are others out there who feel the same way.
